The STEPCRAFT HF precision milling spindle 500 W of the second generation is based on the design of the first generation, but brings many new features. The HF-500 v2 is a cylindrical spindle in compact design, equipped with a high-torque asynchronous motor. The large-dimensioned ball bearings (triple ball bearings) ensure precise concentricity and increased tool life. Further advantages are the high rigidity, the low-vibration running and the lifetime grease lubrication. The control unit has been completely redesigned and now offers, in addition to 6 supported languages, the possibility to easily set the speed of the motor.

For the application of the tool with a STEPCRAFT or a third-party router additional ER-collets are necessary. The ER collets are not included in the scope of delivery.

Due to the flexible operation of the milling spindle with CNC routers from various brands, the spindle control signals can be switched between analog and digital as well as between 5 V and 10 V PWM-signal.
