PhotoVCarve has been developed in order to allow CNC machines to carve and engrave in a way that, until now, was only possible with expensive laser marking systems.
The software instantlyconverts photographs and images into high quality toolpaths that can be run on virtually any CNC routing and engraving machines.
Thus, PhotoVCarve enables you to realize image templates in excellent quality without the use of any laser technique.
For this, the software employs VGroove machining for 2D images in order to display brightness and contrast of the image template through chip carving.
Additionally, PhotoVCarve is also perfect for machining 3D lithophanes directly from photographs or 3D objects from greyscale templates.
